This project explores how pulse-based interaction can support mindfulness. Feels is a conceptual product combining a tactile wearable ring with a digital experience to help users slow down and reconnect through guided breathing.

I designed both the physical device and its interface, focusing on emotional clarity and visual rhythm to create a calming, intuitive experience.

Building Feels meant thinking in both digital and physical terms. I 3D-modeled the ring to feel natural on the hand like something you’d actually want to wear. On the screen side, I focused on real-time feedback. The circular UI reacts to your pulse and breathing, creating a slow, calming rhythm.

One of the biggest lessons from this project was restraint. Not everything needs to stand out sometimes the best design quietly supports the experience. Feels taught me to be more intentional with motion, layout, and tone and how subtle details can do a lot of emotional heavy lifting.

The idea behind Feels started with a question: how can technology guide us back into our bodies, instead of pulling us away from them? I wanted to create something that doesn’t just look good it feels good to use. The wearable ring tracks your pulse and gives gentle haptic feedback to guide your breathing. The UI reflects that same rhythm, with soft transitions and circular motion reinforcing a sense of flow and presence.

I deliberately avoided overloading the interface minimal controls, high contrast, and clear feedback were key. The waveform animation mirrors your breathing in real time, providing both a visual and physical feedback loop. Every element, from typography to microinteractions, is chosen to reduce friction and support a meditative mood.

InfiniNode Brand Identity for Emerging Chip Technology
This was our first real-world brand project, building a complete identity for InfiniNode, a company working to scale chip technologies for future infrastructures. The challenge was to take something highly technical and give it a voice and visual expression that felt modern, trustworthy, and human.

We created the name, tone of voice, visual language, and brand system from scratch, finding the right balance between innovation and clarity. The brand needed to speak to engineers, investors, and partners alike, without losing focus or feeling overly corporate.

The logo was one of the most interesting challenges. We wanted something that hinted at scale, networks, and modularity while staying minimal and clean. After exploring multiple routes, we landed on a logomark built around connected nodes forming a system. The geometric form suggests growth and structure, with a sense of forward movement.

One big lesson was learning how too many design options early in the process can slow things down and muddy decision-making. I realized how important it is to present a strong direction clearly and to explain the thinking behind it. Working on InfiniNode helped me develop both my design voice and my ability to defend design choices with purpose.

About me

About me

About me

About me

Hey, I’m Oliver a digital designer from Gothenburg with a passion for thoughtful design, playful ideas, and turning concepts into something real. I’m currently studying at Yrgo, where I focus on everything from UX and UI to visual storytelling.

Before diving into design, I worked in photography – something that still shapes how I see light, composition, and emotion. I’ve also been exploring 3D design lately, especially in Blender, where I love building products, interfaces, and little worlds from scratch.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably out in the woods, on a bike, or chasing some kind of adrenaline rush. Nature and movement help me recharge – and often inspire me too.

My style leans towards clean, bold, and minimal, but I always try to add a personal twist. I believe good design should feel intuitive, honest, and maybe even a little fun. One quote that’s stuck with me during my studies is:

“Comparison is the thief of joy.”

It reminds me to stay focused on my own path, process, and growth. Always open to new projects, collaborations, or just a good conversation.
